A Taliban official stated that in Kabul, Afghanistan’s capital, Taliban start collecting weapons from residents on Monday since people no longer need them to be protected personally.

“We understand people’s personal safety weapons. We understand. You can feel secure today. We’re not here to harm innocent people, “Reuters said the official.

Saad Mohseni, a city resident, director of the MOBY group media company, reported on Twitter that Taliban troops came to his compound to investigate his security team’s weaponry.
