In the country at least 242 persons with dengue fever were admitted 24 hours a day to 8 a.m. Outside Dhaka only 21 of them.
According to the Directorate general of health services, a total of 5,434 people were diagnosed this year with dengue (DGHS). Out from outside Dhaka just 260 of the total afflicted persons are.
Of the total number of those sick this month 2,776 were diagnosed.
In July, at least 2,286 persons across the country were hospitalized; in June 272 were hospitalized.
Although 896 patients have so far been freed, at hospitals throughout the country they are still receiving therapy, the DGHS evidence.
