On July 21, the country will celebrate Eid-ul-Azha, Islam’s second major religious festival.
After evaluating information about the sighting of the Zilhaj moon, the National Moon Sighting Committee made the decision.
The meeting began at 7:15 p.m. at the office of the Islamic Foundation in Baitul Mukarram, and was chaired by state minister for Religious Affairs, Faridul Haque Khan.
Today, the moon of the holy month of Zilhaj was visible in Bangladesh’s sky.
On the tenth day of Zilhaj, Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Azha.
