Additional police officers have been stationed at key locations across Chattogram to deal with any adverse situations that may arise during the Copa America final between Argentina and Brazil.

“Extra police personnel are being deployed in different areas starting tonight to avert any kind of adverse incident before and after the game,” CMP’s Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Arafatul Islam confirmed to The Daily Star.

“In addition, police personnel are patrolling the city to prevent any incident that poses a threat to public property or lives,” the ADC stated.
